Accessibility statement
A campaign that says it represents everyone has to be usable by everyone. This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Last updated: August 2026
What we've done
- Text and interface elements meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast requirements.
- Every function works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Headings are structured in order so screen reader users can navigate by heading.
- Every meaningful image has alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields have real labels, errors are announced, and error messages say how to fix the problem.
- Links describe where they go — no bare "click here."
- Videos are captioned, and transcripts are provided wherever we have them.
- The site works at 200% zoom and on a phone held in one hand.
- Motion and animation respect your system's reduced-motion setting.
The standard referenced here is WCAG 2.2 Level AA (opens in a new tab), the internationally recognised web content accessibility standard.
Accessibility at campaign events
Event listings state whether the venue is step-free and what accommodations are available.
ASL interpretation, Spanish and Haitian Creole interpretation, large-print materials, and seating accommodations are available on request. Please give us five days' notice where you can, and ask anyway if you can't.
Something not working?
If any part of this site or any campaign event is difficult for you to use, please tell us. We will fix it, and in the meantime we will get you the information another way — by phone, in person, or in whatever format works.
